Why am I starting this blog and should you be bothered to read it?
I'll tell you why: it's because I'm going to write the kind of health
blog that I would like to read. I'm going to write about enjoying life,
loving your body, and expecting more of yourself. I'm going to write it
because I started thinking about how Weight Watchers is about "lifestyle"
and what, really, am I losing when I give up an unhealthy lifestyle and
what can I get from living a better lifestyle?
I'll tell you what: the good life. Living longer, better. Being able to walk
for longer without resting. Being able to tire out kindergartners rather
than the other way around. Having more energy to do more activities
and more activities to each day, to each life. Go more places, see more,
do more.
Part of this, of course, is to remind me of all that I want to be, why I'm
doing this, and who I plan to be on the other side, when I become a "lifer."
But if you want to read along, come along, the more the more merrier;
we're going to do fantastic things.
It's going to be great.
